Pianist Amit Dolberg is one of Israelis leading performers of new music. Many important composers have written works and dedicated them to Amit, who has premiered them on the concert platform around the world.

Mr. Dolberg is the founder and director of the International Chamber Music Meitar ensemble, the co-director of the electro-acoustic center, Raash, The Matan Givol composers competition, the Tedarim M.mus in contemporary music track at the Jerusalem academy for music and dance and the CEME international festival for new music and master classes. Since 2024 he has been the Israeli philharmonic contemporary music advisor.

Dolberg have been acclaimed with the Meitar ensemble for their significant contribution to the development of Israeli culture and music, receiving the Benyaminy Award (2006 with Meitar and in 2017 with Tempera ensemble), Partosh Award (2008), The Israeli cultural minister prize for Meitar ensemble contribution for the Israeli culture (2009), Landau Award (2010) ,the Coups de Cœur prize of the Académie Charles Cros as one of the outstanding albums of contemporary music in 2018, In 2024 Dolberg and Meitar received the Berlin Mamlok foundation award.

He has performed and made recordings with conductors such as Pierre-Andre Valade, Matthias Pintcher, Ilan Volkov, Avner Biron, Zolt Nagy, Fabian Panisello and with orchestras and ensembles in Israel, Asia and Europe including the Tonhalle Zurich orchestra, the Israel Camerata Orchestra (Jerusalem), the Jerusalem radio Symphony Orchestra, The Stuttgart Neue Vocalsolisten, Tel Aviv Soloists, the Israeli symphony orchestra, the National symphony Orchestra Taiwan, the Israeli chamber orchestra Tel Aviv, Plural ensemble and more.

As a chamber musician he has collaborated with numerous ensembles, performing in venues and festivals such as the, Venice Biennale, Ultraschall Berlin, The Forbidden City concert hall Beijing, Merkin hall NYC, MATA Festival NYC, Manifeste Pompidou Centre Paris, Royaumont festival, Cervantes festival Mexico, RadialSystem Berlin, Konzerthaus Berlin, Purcell Room London, Winchester Cathedral, Brighton Festival, Heidelberg Biennale and Warsaw Autumn Festival.
